Members Celebrated the Season at December Gathering
By Diane J. Ploch

The holiday spirit was alive and well at the MCAICT December 13th “meeting” at Bertucci’s in Orange. About 20 members (many adorned in some shade of red) gathered to network and celebrate the season. No official business was conducted and no official professional development was offered; however the lively discussions and the lingering over coffee sent a message that this was a group that had plenty to share! From reminiscing about mutual projects and describing
memorable experiences to meeting new people and re-connecting with old friends – it was a busy and fun-filled evening.

Considering the relatively small group, the odds were good to win one of the raffle prizes, which included, wine, gift cards to Barnes & Noble, and the grand prize of a Video-iPod. Most everyone walked away with something, thanks to the grab bag exchange – and the plentiful food! After enjoying salad, pizza, chicken and pasta, attendees were offered doggie bags, too.

Thanks go out to the board members who took on various tasks to help spread the holiday cheer at this event. It was a great way to close out 2005 and get 2006 off to a good start!
