Michael Mino is the Director and Founder of Center for 21st Century Skills @ EDUCATION CONNECTION in Litchfield, CT. He is also Curriculum Director for the Connecticut Career Choices (CCC) initiative that is focused on engaging students in the study of emerging science and technology topics in preparation for new opportunities in the Connecticut "Knowledge Economy". The CCC program currently engages over 1000 urban and suburban high school students and teachers in an online course environment that is focused on project based learning and digital media to facilitate the study of Science and Technology. This past year the program was awarded a $900,000 National Science foundation grant to expand and collaborate with the Connecticut Community College of Technology. Mino is also currently serving in the Apple Distinguished Educators program which recognizes K-12 and Higher Education educators throughout many countries who innovative and integrate, technology and education.
