Guy Ortoleva has worked in the television and media industry for over 25 years, first as an award-winning cameraman/director, then as an entertainment attorney, and more recently as the former Director of the Connecticut Film Office, before joining Tripeg.

He has been reviewing demo reels for 25 years, and on both coasts. When the State of California contracted out millions of dollars in video production services for state agencies, Guy's job included looking at dozens of reels a week, from camera, to VO, to post-production. "I was instructed to 'figure out who was real' – and to include a brief analysis for the agency or agency’s subcontractor." In Connecticut, Guy watched reels submitted by individuals and companies. "When you actually know the people, it becomes clear the best reels don’t come from those who are most skilled."

Guy is a Hamden resident and is active in the local economic development efforts.
